Je suis partie à Bali avec ma fille du 4 au 15 juillet 2019. Clairement le plus beau des mes voyages!
J'avais réservé les hôtels à l'avance mais rien d'autre. Nous avons volé avec Qatar Airlines, premier stop après 6 heures à Doha, puis encore 10h jusqu'a Dempasar. Fatiguant mais vite oublié tellement Bali nous prend directement sous son aile!
I went to Bali with my daughter from 4 to 15 July 2019. Clearly the best trip I've ever done!
I had booked the hotels in advance but nothing else. We flew with Qatar Airlines, first stop after 6 hours in Doha, then another 10 hours to Dempasar. Tiring but soon forgotten as Bali took us straight under its wing!
Nous avons commencé notre voyage par 3 nuits à Canggu, ville sur la côte ouest. Gros coup de coeur direct! C'est animé, vivant, bruyant, et terriblement dépaysant!
Pour se déplacer à Bali, vous pouvez soit louer des mobylettes soit prendre des taxis, ça ne coûte pratiquement rien, genre 3 euros pour aller d'un point A à un point B! Et si vous voulez bouger toute une journée par exemple, prenez un chauffeur, ça vous coûtera aux alentours de 30/35 euros et il vous conduira ou vous voulez et vous attendra tout le temps. Pour toutes ces questions, n'hésitez pas à demander à la réception de votre hotel, ils s'occuperont de tout!
Pour ceux qui aiment ca, le top du top là-bas, ce sont les massages, vous pouvez en faire un d'une heure pour 5/6 euros! Donc nous on a pas lésiné, on en a fait 5 je pense ;-) Vous trouverez des salons un peu partout.
We started our trip with 3 nights in Canggu, a town on the west coast. We fell in love with the town straight away! It's bustling, lively, noisy and a real change of scenery!
To get around Bali, you can either hire mopeds or take taxis, which cost next to nothing - around €3 to get from A to B! And if you want to get around for a whole day, for example, hire a driver. This will cost you around 30/35 euros and he'll take you where you want to go and wait for you the whole time. For all these questions, don't hesitate to ask at your hotel reception - they'll take care of everything!
For those who like it, the best part is the massages, you can have one for an hour for 5/6 euros! So we didn't skimp, I think we had 5 ;-) You'll find salons just about everywhere.
1/ Canggu Kalapa boutique resort & yoga
Superbe hôtel, petits cabanons trop trop jolis avec hamac perso, deux piscines, personnel adorable et petits déjeuners délicieux. Demander à ne pas avoir la chambre 1, c'est la seule vraiment pas terrible car très bruyante (attenante à la réception, à la salle de yoga et au parking de mobylettes!!)
Superb hotel, pretty little cabanas with hammocks, two swimming pools, lovely staff and delicious breakfasts. Ask not to have room 1, it's the only really bad one as it's very noisy (adjoining reception, the yoga room and the moped car park!!!).

- La Brisa Endroit de folie où regarder le soleil se coucher, bien Installés sur des poufs, avec de la super bonne musique, un bon cocktail et il y a une piscine sympa, donc prenez votre maillot ;-) /
It's the ideal place to watch the sun go down, comfortably installed on poufs, with good music, a good cocktail and a beautiful swimming pool, so take your swimming costume ;-)

Nous avons demandé à un chauffeur de nous emmener au Temple d'Uluwatu, dans l'extrême sud de l'ile. Ce sanctuaire a la particularité d’être perché au bord d’une falaise, c'est vraiment majestueux. A l'entrée, on nous prête un sarong, car les genoux (et les épaules) doivent obligatoirement être couverts. Le Temple et les environs sont habités par des centaines de singes, ils sont aussi adorables que chapardeurs, faites vraiment attention, ils vous dépouilleront facilement!
We asked a driver to take us to the temple of Uluwatu, in the extreme south of the island. This sanctuary has the particularity of being perched on the edge of a cliff, which is truly majestic. At the entrance, we were lent a sarong, as our knees (and shoulders) must be covered. The temple and its surroundings are inhabited by hundreds of monkeys, as adorable as they are thieves. Be very careful, they'll steal from you easily!
Ensuite, notre chauffeur nous a conduit dans un beach club, le Ulu Cliffhouse. Très sympa pour y manger, s'y baigner et s'y détendre quelques heures.
Our driver then took us to a beach club, the Ulu Cliffhouse. A great place to eat, swim and relax for a few hours.
Puis, direction le marché aux poissons de Jimbaran. Super impressionnant!
Then it's off to the Jimbaran fish market. Super impressive!
2/ Ubud Kori Ubud Resort
Ensuite, nous sommes partie à Ubud, plus central, et clairement notre gros gros coup de coeur! Notre hotel était très bien placé, personnel adorable comme toujours, chambre canon, piscine, et très bons repas.
Il y a plein plein de choses à faire à Ubud : les rizières de Tellalagang, la monkey forest, une fabrique de café (ne pas y aller après 16h, j'ai pas fermé l'oeil de la nuit!!!), les balançoires dans la jungle, les temples au centre de la ville, une piscine où passer une aprem (CANOOOOOON, ca s’appelle Jungle fish, c’est super reposant et le cadre est dingue!).

We then went to Ubud, which is more central and clearly our favourite! Our hotel was very well located, with lovely staff as always, a great room, a swimming pool and very good food.
There's lots to do in Ubud: the Tellalagang rice fields, the monkey forest, a coffee factory (don't go after 4pm, I couldn't sleep all night!!!), the jungle swings, the temples in the centre of town, a pool to spend the afternoon in (amaaaaazing, it's called Jungle fish, it's super relaxing and the decor is crazy!).

Troisième stop, l'ile de Nusa Lembongan, de la farniente pour 24h! Pour y arriver, nous prenons un bateau au départ de Sanur qui nous amène directement sur l'ile. Un taxi et nous voilà dans un hotel sublime, avec une plage sublime et une eau sublime! Bonheur intersidéral!!
Third stop, the island of Nusa Lembongan, for 24 hours of lounging! To get there, we took a boat from Sanur that took us directly to the island. A taxi and we were in a sublime hotel, with a sublime beach and sublime water! Interstellar bliss!
3/ Lembongan Indiana Kenanga Boutique Hotel & spa
Honnêtement, je ne pense pas avoir été dans plus bel hotel que celui-ci. Tout est magnifique: les chambres, le resto les pieds dans le sable, la décoration, le personnel ADORABLE, la nourriture excellente, la vue, les piscines, la mer transparente,...
3/ Lembongan Indiana Kenanga Boutique Hotel & spa
Honestly, I don't think I've been to a more beautiful hotel than this. Everything is magnificent: the rooms, the restaurant with its feet in the sand, the decor, the ADORABLE staff, the excellent food, the view, the pools, the transparent sea....
Et puis retour à Ubud, avant de reprendre l'avion ;-(
And then back to Ubud, before getting back on the plane ;-(
